Why don't I see vehicle in the Lot?

If the tow was processed correctly, the vehicle should be in Pending inventory. If not, there are 3 reasons:

  1. The Lot was not selected as the drop destination at the time the job was dispatched (to check, see if a lot was selected by looking at Job Details)
  2. The driver did not tap on the “Dropped” step, which places vehicles in Pending inventory (to check, review job status to see if “Dropped” status has a time stamp)
  3. The address of the lot was entered manually rather than by choosing it from the drop down menu of available “Lots) as the destination.

To fix this: Enter the vehicle into the lot manually and link the new storage job to the completed tow job.

  1. Click the +New job button on the right side of the top of inventory screen
  2. Enter the vehicle information (it cannot be pulled from the tow job details), choose account, template, bill to, etc. Choose your lot from the Lot dropdown menu.
  3. Enter the tow Job ID in Remarks: job description box, scroll down and SAVE.

  1. Give the system a moment to update (or <ctrl-R> or click Refresh button to force a reload). View the vehicle under “Pending” and click on it again to open.
