Summary

  1. Create company on Ranger website
  2. Open email after completion of signup and receive Company Number
  3. Install Tracker Update
  4. Configure Drivers Messaging Setup in Tracker to “Ranger”
  5. Install Ranger Client
  6. Configure Ranger Client with Company Number
  7. Configure your router to route access from port 5001 TCP to Ranger Client Workstations IP address
  8. Run Ranger.Reg file from each computer running Tracker on your network
  9. Download Phone Application to each phone
  10. Test to make sure Dispatch calls are receiving Ranger ID
  11. Login to Ranger on phone
  12. Send test call to Ranger

Company setup summary

Company setup on Ranger website

  • Create company on Ranger website
  • Load truck numbers into truck table
  • Load driver numbers and initials into driver table
  • Load default pricing information for each truck type

Phone setup

  • Java-enabled Nextel phone with Data Access Plan and Public IP address
  • Correct/current version of firmware on each phone
  • Correct settings of software on MAM
  • Download the software from MAM to each phone
  • Run tests, send calls, run through processes, checkout, payment
