The “X” button in Windows Mobile 6.0 on the Mogul device can be configured to either background or exit the application. If the Ranger application is exited, the Ranger application will no longer be listening for new calls and any assigned calls via the web page will time out.

To Configure the “x” button to background applications:

1. From the Start Menu, select Settings.
2. In Settings, select the System Tab → Task Manager → Button Tab.
3. You may either un-check the “Enable the 'X' button to end running programs” or be sure “End programs by tapping and holding 'x' is selected.

Note: You can determine if Ranger was previously “exited” if you see the Welcome safety agreement screen after clicking the Ranger icon in the start menu. If ranger was previously “backgrounded”, the Ranger application will be on the screen you last left the application on after clicking the Ranger icon in the start menu.
