The general purpose of this map tab is to allow the user to look up or refine the geocoding data for location/destination of jobs.
Jobs accordion and click on a job row.1100357, the location is geocoded but the destination is not. A job pin (e.g., the blue pin) will be displayed for the geocoded address, while a Google map marker, with L for location and D for destination, will be displayed for the non-geocoded address in the center of the map.1100357 above. Otherwise, it will indicate that the lack of geocoding data, as shown above the destination marker for job 11001357 above.Goto address button, to attempt manual location. In the example above, the user entered 25 ghent rd, akron, oh and clicked Goto address. The address was geocodable, so the popup displayed Address found. The resulting latitude and longitude are filled in on the Lat/Lon tab in the popup.Update this job with this position link, no changes will be made to the job. This allows the user to drag the pin around, test addresses through trial and error, without making permanent changes.What is nice about this tab is you can move pins or balloons to get proper job address by left clicking on them and moving them to proper location. You can also type in different address in bubble. Once you change the address you click on “Update this job with this location” or “Cancel Relocation”
NOTE: Not only will map update but any changes will automatically update in Tracker
