There are two ways to create “Extras,” which are additional charges that can be added to a storage job.
Which is the better way depends on the pricing philosophy your company has adopted. For example, if pricing for extra charges are the same for all your accounts or are based on time or quantity, it would be quicker to create them as items and group them into an “Item Template” for storage and attach to a pricing template. Further, if the charges are based on time or units, e.g., 2 boxes kitty litter, you will need to create a usage-based item using method #1.
