Other Parameters

Other Parameters are completely defined by you and can be based on any criteria you wish. Some common examples include: tenure, completing certifications and training, proficiency using the Android device, attendance thresholds, consistency in completing pre-shift checklist/being prepared for shift, or by other parameters you can measure or quantify.

To encourage operational improvement, it may be worthwhile to employ multiple strategies to align desired behaviors with operational objectives.

  • For your employees who are motivated from within to do a good job and take pride in their work, they will be motivated when they understand the impact a desired behavior has on the bigger picture.
  • For your employees who are more motivated by financial rewards or perks, having a piece of their compensation tied to specific behaviors may be most effective.

To utilize the “user-defined” functionality in Ranger, define your commission structure and decide on the “base” commission. Then set up customized commission structures from Configuration/Pricing setup/Shifts/commission and complete the appropriate fields as shown below.

For example, if you set your base commission at xx%, your drivers can earn additional percentages based on your defined criteria. (See example below of user defined fields.)

To set up individual driver commissions, go to Commissions/Configure drivers, and add percentages based on performance level (see example below).
