• This is the default view that opens up when the map is launched. The map is automatically sized to show all trucks.
• Truck icons can be trucks, as shown above, or smaller circles, as shown below. The smaller icons are provided as an option for larger fleets. This setting can be edited by a company Ranger administrator on the Configuration/Company setup/Map options screen.
• Truck labels can use a large font, as shown above, or a smaller font, as shown below. The smaller font is provided as an option for larger fleets. This setting can be edited by a company Ranger administrator on the Configuration/Company setup/Map options screen.

These are the controls that are displayed on top of the map.

Control	Description
All Trucks	If this button is selected, it will be displayed in bold. If selected, every time the map is refreshed, the map will be automatically sized to show every selected truck in the fleet.
Save Current View	If this button is selected, the center and size of the map will be saved for re-use later.
(return to saved position)	If the user has previously clicked the Save Current View button, clicking this button will move the map back to that view.

• As noted above, truck icons and labels can be customized.
• Labels can be customized to save space, be more or less descriptive, etc. for the company. If the label is modified on any open map and saved, every map that is opened afterwards will use these new settings.
• The label templates use descriptors, listed below, to determine the position of a piece of data in the label. Every time the map is refreshed, the label is rebuilt according to truck data after that load.

Label templates can be specified for both assigned and unassigned trucks. It may be desirable, for a company with a large number of vehicles on the map, to customize the unassigned truck label to not show the status at all, saving map space.

For truck 101, headed in direction 323 degrees (NW), not currently assigned to a job, and
truck 102, headed in direction 125 degrees (SE), assigned to and enroute to a job:

• Clicking on a truck icon will show a popup with truck information, as shown above.
• The popup will have three tabs, Overview, Driver, and GPS. Optionally, if the truck is assigned to a job, a fourth Job tab will be displayed.
  • Overview: shows truck #, driver name, status, speed, & type of truck. More importantly it will show the communication status of device and whether the truck is moving or stopped.
  • Job: gives an overview of the job. Job #, requested by, reason, priority, incident & desination. You can also find the incident and destination Note: The address must be Geocodable for this feature to work the way it was intended.
  • GPS: shows the dispatcher the connection status and GPS fix status. These items will have a green check mark, yellow triangle or red circle. The icon will become yellow at 2x the push interval the company is set at and the icon will be become red at 3x the push interval the company is set at.
• Truck colors are based on truck status:

• Truck icons are different based on truck. For large truck icons, the truck represents the type of truck. For small circle icons, the labels are as follows:

• Clicking on a truck icon will show a popup with truck information, as shown above.
• The popup will have two tabs, Job and Times.
  • Job: shows job # and other pertinent job details. The Locate Location/Destination link will find the other address pin and popup the job bubble. The Hide Job link will hide the job pins.
  • Times: shows the following status times for the job: call time, scheduled time, enroute time, hook time, and drop time.
